Greenwood Bulldogs football will host a two day Youth Football Camp on May 26 and 27 at Smith Robinson Stadium, giving young players a chance to build skills and spend time around the high school football program before the next school year begins.
The camp is open to students entering 1st through 6th grade for the 2026 to 2027 school year.
Registration is $50 per camper, and the cost includes a camp T-shirt for players who register in advance. Families are being reminded that players must register ahead of time to receive the free camp shirt.
The camp will be split into two age groups each day. Players entering 1st through 3rd grade will take the field from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., while players entering 4th through 6th grade will attend from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
For younger athletes, the camp offers a simple way to learn the game in a structured setting. Players will get time on the field, work through football fundamentals, and start building confidence before fall sports activities return.

It also gives families a local option for late May that is short, focused, and tied directly to the Greenwood football program.
Smith Robinson Stadium gives the event a strong setting for future Bulldogs.
Camps like this are often where younger players first begin to feel connected to the high school program, whether they are just starting football or already playing in youth leagues.
The two day format also keeps the camp practical for families. Each session runs 90 minutes, giving players enough time to work, learn, and stay active without making the day too long for younger age groups.

For Greenwood, the youth camp is another way to keep football growing from the lower grades up. For the campers, May 26 and 27 will be a chance to get on the field, learn from the program, and take one more step toward becoming future Bulldogs.
