Carvers Bay opens spots for 2026 boys’ varsity basketball summer league

Carvers Bay is bringing back its boys’ varsity basketball summer league for 2026, with play set for two June sessions.

The event is scheduled for June 8-9 and June 15-16, giving teams an early summer option before the month gets crowded with other camps, workouts, and live periods.

The format is simple. Teams can enter for both sessions, which comes with six games for $325, or choose a smaller entry with one day of play and three games for $190.

The posted notice also states that the full entry price is up $25 from past years.

What makes this one worth noting is that Carvers Bay is not introducing a brand-new event.

The school’s 2026 notice says it will “once again” hold the summer league, and the same post refers to this year’s event as the 21st Annual Carvers Bay Summer League.

That gives the event a little more weight than a one-off June play day. It has history behind it and already looks like something programs know on the calendar.

The structure also gives coaches some flexibility. A team that wants a shorter June run can come in for one day and get three games, while programs that want a fuller stretch can lock in both sessions and get six.

For schools trying to sort out summer minutes, evaluate lineups, and get live work without overcomplicating the month, that kind of setup is easy to understand.

The confirmed details from the post are clear enough on their own: boys’ varsity level, two June sessions, six-game or three-game entry options, and a named return for the 21st annual event.

The notice does not add extra tournament-style details beyond the dates, game totals, and entry fees, so the safest way to frame it is exactly that, Carvers Bay has opened the door for teams that want summer games in June.

For programs looking ahead to the offseason, this is the kind of item that can matter even without a lot of noise around it.

The dates are set, the pricing is posted, and the event is back on the board. For teams that want June competition with a straightforward format, Carvers Bay’s summer league is again part of the South Carolina high school basketball calendar.
