The Live Like Ryan Foundation will bring its next community fundraiser to Wilson Ballpark on Saturday, May 16, with supporters invited to take part in a Wilson Warbirds baseball night that sends a portion of every ticket back to the foundation.

The fundraiser is built around the Wilson Warbirds home game on May 16 at 7:05 p.m. EDT at Wilson Ballpark, located at 401 Goldsboro Street S in Wilson, North Carolina.

The May 16 game is listed as a Hill City Howlers at Wilson Warbirds matchup, with first pitch set for 7:05 p.m.

The special Live Like Ryan ticket offer is priced at $25.40 and includes one hot dog, one soda or water, and one ice cream. For every ticket purchased through the fundraiser offer, $6 will go back to Live Like Ryan.

Tickets must be purchased before the deadline on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

The event gives families and supporters a simple way to enjoy a night of baseball while helping a foundation focused on youth opportunities.

The fundraiser is not just about filling seats for a game. It connects the energy of a summer baseball night with a mission centered on helping kids and teens take part in meaningful, character-building experiences.

Live Like Ryan Fundraiser Supports Youth Opportunities

The Live Like Ryan Foundation works to provide competitive scholarships for children and teens who want to take part in wholesome, life-changing opportunities such as youth camps and mission trips.

The foundationโ€™s mission is tied to service, faith, humanitarian relief work and the kind of experiences that help young people grow through helping others.

That purpose gives the Warbirds fundraiser a deeper local meaning. Each ticket purchased helps support the foundationโ€™s work while also giving fans a food-inclusive baseball night in Wilson.

The event page describes the night as a chance for โ€œplay, excitement, and communityโ€ with the Wilson Warbirds, all in support of Live Like Ryan.

The offer is designed to make the outing easy for families, since the ticket already includes ballpark food and a drink.

The Wilson Warbirds are playing their inaugural season in Wilson after the franchise moved from its previous home as the Carolina Mudcats in Zebulon. T

he clubโ€™s 2026 home schedule brought professional baseball back to Wilson, and the Warbirds have been building their first season around theme nights, community events and family-friendly promotions.

May 16 also falls on the Warbirdsโ€™ listed First Responders Night, adding another community-focused layer to the evening.

Wilson Warbirds Night Gives Families a Community Baseball Outing

The fundraiser gives Live Like Ryan supporters a clear way to help while still making the night feel like a regular family outing.

Fans can watch the Warbirds, enjoy the included food items, and know that part of the ticket price is going back to a foundation built around youth support.

For families in Wilson and nearby communities, the timing also works well. A Saturday night first pitch gives parents, children, church groups, youth teams and supporters a chance to turn the fundraiser into a group outing.

Each Live Like Ryan ticket includes entry to the game, one hot dog, one soda or water, and one ice cream. With $6 from every ticket going back to the foundation, the fundraiser adds a direct giving component to a night at the ballpark.

The purchase deadline matters. Supporters who want their ticket to count toward the Live Like Ryan offer must buy before May 2 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. After that deadline, the special fundraiser offer is scheduled to close.

The event continues a growing pattern around minor league baseball, where teams and local groups use game nights to support schools, nonprofits, youth programs and community causes.

For Live Like Ryan, the Wilson Warbirds game offers a visible and family-friendly way to raise money while keeping the foundationโ€™s mission in front of the community.

The May 16 fundraiser will bring together baseball, food, fellowship and a purpose that reaches beyond the game. For supporters of Live Like Ryan, it is a chance to help fund youth opportunities while spending a Saturday night at Wilson Ballpark.
